Since I sent that my system went haywire and produced 232998 messages
like:
ivtv: ENC IRQ OVERFLOW: #0 Stealing a Buffer, 256 currently allocated

Perhaps I'll go back to the ck100zz that's in at-good and see how it
works for me...
