Hello;
It's a never ending story: Yesterday i've configuered X to start in dual display mode with the PVR 350 an simple nVidia card. After some problems howto specify the BusID, which may be caused by the new X driver of the PVR 350, it works now.
BUT: I have to start X first in single display with the nvidia card and can then restart in dual display mode. If i try to start X automaticaly at boot time in dual display mode linux crashes. Even if i boot into textmode and try to start dual display form console linux hangs up. I've thought this maybe a problem of the accelerated driver from nvidia, but it also happens with the non-accellerated driver.
As a result of the total linux crash i will not get a Xorg.0.log
Any suggestions?
Excuse me if ihs is off topic as it may be a problem of the nvidia driver and not of ivtv. But it's really frustrating me.
