I am running Arch linux using kernel 2.6.10-smp.
Using ivtv-0.3.2a I am able to get video out by using
make
make install
modbrobe ivtv tuner=47
*** (tuner=50) works too. ***
Unfortunately, I don't get any sound.
If I use ivtv-0.3.2b all I get is snow and still no sound. I have narrowed the problem down the the cx25840 module by installing all components of ivtv-0.3.2b except the cx25840 module and using the cx25840 module from ivtv-0.3.2a I am still able to get video.
