No, the insmod option is "opmode":
0 == manual
1 == simple
2 == simpler (i.e. ivtv).
At the moment the driver picks either 0 or 1 depending on the hardware
capabilities unless you overwrite that with the opmode insmod option.
opmode=1 might work with ivtv as well, any reports on this are
welcome. opmode=2 broke Hauppauge bttv cards for not-yet known
reasons.
That'll teach me for trusting my memory ;-) The option used to be
called simpler in the ivtv version. Sorry for spreading incorrect
information.
