I'm guessing you mean 0.1.9 IvyTV (a.k.a. ivtv).
It builds and installs ok. With the model 980 (no FM tuner, 1/8" stereo audio jack), the modules load fine and I can record no problem. However, when I replace it with a MCE version - model 975 with FM tuner and RCA audio,
i.e. cardtype 2
the ivtv.o module hangsI *highly* recommend you upgrade to 0.2.0-rc-whatever's-the-latest ( http://ivtv.no-ip.com/ ) and adjust your mod{ules,probe}.com to contain *ONLY*
the system and I have to reboot. I am using the same firmware between
the two. Any suggestions or recommendations?
# ivtv modules setup alias char-major-81 videodev alias char-major-81-0 ivtv
Note that specifying card type may work (i.e. "options ivtv cardtype=2,1" assuming you have the MCE as the first card and the normal 250 as the second), but I really think you're much better off with 0.2.0-rc series than 0.1.9... A lot of people did a lot of really good work on the new series.
