I'm new to linux world. Please bare with me. I bought a Hauppauge PVR-150 MCE (NTSC) and try to get it work under Fedora Core 2. My kernel version is kernel-2.6.10-1.9_FC2
I've following this link but didn't work. http://www.shspvr.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=7003 I notice the person posted in the above link is not using NTSC version of PVR-150. I downloaded the HcwMakoA.ROM from him. Should I use the one come with my PVR-150 CD? My friend told me I have to extract it or something. I'm all confused. I want to do some trouble shooting but don't know where to start. First of all, I want to know how I get these info I listed below thanks in advance. I've seen people post their log like this ****************************************************** > tveeprom: Hauppauge: model = 26552, rev = C268, serial# = 7723854 > tveeprom: tuner = LG TAPE H001F MK3 (idx = 68, type = 47) > tveeprom: tuner fmt = NTSC(M) (eeprom = 0x08, v4l2 = 0x00001000) > tveeprom: audio_processor = MSP3410D (type = 5) > ivtv: i2c attach [client=tveeprom[0],ok] ****************************************************** or this ****************************************************** ivtv: ==================== START INIT IVTV ==================== ivtv: version 0.3.2 (b) loading ivtv: Linux version: 2.6.10-1-k7 preempt K7 gcc-3.3 ivtv: In case of problems please include the debug info ivtv: between the START INIT IVTV and END INIT IVTV lines when ivtv: mailing the ivtv-devel mailinglist. ivtv: Autodetected WinTV PVR 150 card ivtv: Found an iTVC16 based chip ACPI: PCI interrupt 0000:00:0a.0[A] -> GSI 10 (level, low) -> IRQ 10 ivtv: VIA PCI device: 0x3099 vendor: 0x1106 cx25840: FW image "/lib/modules/HcwMakoA.ROM" of size 13353 loaded. cx25840: FW image md5 digest: aa4d1e3dd17667957d8fe5b8d2d19395 cx25840: FW image sha1 digest: 60eafed58e943664aae4754b32271e09a95496b4 ****************************************************** ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by: IntelliVIEW -- Interactive Reporting Tool for open source databases.
