wild-guess here:
video used to be handled by the saa711X chips, and in
the 150's its handled by a conexant chip. It may be
that ivtv doesn't have all the hooks to the new driver
yet. the cx driver may be where you'll need to set
those things (or see if ivtv is calling that driver
correctly)
