I've been working building a MythTV using the Jarod Wilson's excellent instructions at <http://wilsonet.com/mythtv/fc2myth.php>.
I'm using FC2 (2.6.9-1.6_FC2) on a AMD XP2200+ with a PVR 350. The motherboard is a Soyo SY-K7VME, and I'm running unichrome drivers for the onboard graphics. I intend to use the 350's TV-OUT capabilities. Unfortunately, as I modprobe ivtv (and ivtv-fb), I receive some errors, notably: FATAL: Error inserting ivtv_fb (/lib/modules/2.6.9-1.6_FC2/updates/drivers/media/video/ivtv-fb.ko): Operation not permitted Closer inspection of /bin/dmesg suggests that module tveeprom is failing to load. My /etc/modprobe.conf contains: alias char-major-81 videodev alias char-major-81-0 ivtv install ivtv /sbin/modprobe --ignore-install ivtv; /sbin/modprobe ivtv-fb Here's the full error message and the relevant parts of dmesg.
