| I didn't know for sure if they still kept 32bit systems working, but if so,
| email them to me again and I'll get them in on the next round.

Jose's version would only work on systems with 64 bit unsigned longs
(before his fix, the code would only work on systems with 32 bit
unsigned longs). My change made the code universal.

I've "bounced" to you (privately) copies of my two messages with
patches. These are exactly what I posted to the list.

For "due diligence" I suggest that you read the whole thread.
<http://www.gossamer-threads.com/lists/ivtv/devel/16950>

Things to note:

- my patches to ivtv-0.2.0-rc3d are untested. If you read them, you
  should see that they make sense, but that isn't the same as testing.

- my patches to ivtv-0.3.2b were tested by Jose

- there remains a question about what type should field "jiffies" of
  struct "api_cmd" have (discussed in the message with the
  ivtv-0.3.2b patch).

| Thanks,

Thank you for all the work you are putting into maintaining and
developing IVTV.
