I've done ptune-ui.pl & mplayer /dev/video0 to see output, and of course, since I have no source signal, I only get static, which is to be expected. Channel-changing works well.
However, at the bottom of the image there are 6 thick horizontal bars, taking up around 20% of the height of the image, covering the whole width. They are pink/purple/green/white/black and vary with the static.
Is this as it should be? As I said, I haven't had the chance to test with a proper signal (will do so later today) but the horizontal bars are persistant no matter what input source I choose (Tuner, S-video...).
Any pointers appreciated.
