Huh, maybe it's just being misdetected as 47 then.  I still think
(though without seeing a picture I can't be sure) that the line of
static at the top of the screen is supposed to be there.  There is
extra picture transmitted that a regular television cuts off of the
edges- but the capture cards gets it all.

Technically the card has the ability to do cropping, but that code
isn't working/isn't there.

(It's possible you are talking about some other screen artifact you are seeing.)
