Did you ever get a response? How did you "call (a script) from mythtv
upon channel change"? Did you figure out how to pass the values that
you want as kernel params?
This is currently the biggest problem I'm having with mythtv.
Just did a minute ago, but can't do it at init. (thread 'Module
options'). Bit of a "d'oh!": type modinfo ivtv to see options. Need
to look at setting the correct values for every channel in the SQL (or
via mythweb); I'll have to experiment with how myth's 0..0xFFFF
converts to the module ioctls (ivtvctl values).
Channel-change script can be set from mythtvsetup: under the tuner
options, I think.
