I contacted Philips RF Solutions in San Jose and the rep said that this particular tuner requires an NDA for Philips to even release the thresholds. So yay. I'll be contacting Hauppauge soon.
Try these:
{ "Philips FQ1236A MK4", Philips, NTSC, 16*160.00,16*454.00,0x41,0x42,0x04,0x8e,732},
I've tryed them on a PVR500MCE NTSC with FQ1236A tuners and it doesn't work.
Haven't actually been able to test them yet, I'm having major issues being
able to get more than 128k to 192k off my 150 and 500 before they just stall
right now...
My PVR500MCE NTSC with FQ1236A is working from input ivtvctl -p 2 with audio and video OK. No problem with stalling.
I'm using ivtv-0.3.2d plain with just Jim Reese audio patch:

I'm on FC2 with kernel 2.6.10-1.14 rebuilt without REGPARM and 4KSTACKS
I can also get audio and video -without stalling- from input -p 6 but just noise as the tuner is not working. This works for /udev/video0 and /udev/video1
