Hi

I am in the UK ( PAL I) and my card (an Adaptec AVC-2410) also has an
FQ1216ME/I H-3 tuner and I also found that type 38 works. However the tuner
only works with the settings from my kernel module version of tuner.c.(not
ivtv version which has 0xce instead of the 0x8e) these settings are:

{ "Philips PAL/SECAM multi (FM1216ME MK3)", Philips, PAL,
     16*160.00,16*442.00,0x01,0x02,0x04,0x8e,623 },

So if anyone has a problem with this tuner they may have to either use their
kernel version of tuner.c or modify the ivtv version.

By the way I am not getting any audio with the tuner selected on my card.
Although my card is presumably different, have you had any problem with the
audio on your tuner and if so I would be grateful if you would let me know if
and how you got it working.

Best Regards

Trev
