I believe the actual problem is in the log, right above the Error -6 line.

Bus mastering needs to be enabled. Try another PCI slot and/or check your BIOS 
to enable bus mastering. There are also ways to force it on if your BIOS 
doesn't support it, I believe they've been covered here in the past, so check 
the list archives.
