That doesn't seem to be the right place to do it. When you tell the tuner (/dev/video0) to change to a given frequency , it should change to that frequency, not some other frequency. The driver should be the place to change this. Could I get a new tuner type in ivtv, write code to detect it, add code to the tuner module to handle this new type, and other wise treat the tuner as type 47? > > Perhaps put in a new section. > Did you try the Broadcast settings instead of US-Cable? That will not solve my problem. The frequency values being used by mythtv and chann.c are approximately 62.5 times larger then the ones I am giving it to get a clear picture. Obviously, the tuner is interpreting the values given to it by the driver differently than the driver author intended. -- greg <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> ------------------------------------------------------- SF email is sponsored by - The IT Product Guide Read honest & candid reviews on hundreds of IT Products from real users.
