OK, I have video, YAY!
It turns out that my tuner is 55 in the f version.
All I have to do now is figure out why my image is distorted and the
hue is all screwed up, but I don't think that that will be difficult.
One note, cardfmt=1 isnt a valid argument for cx25840:
cardtype:Card type: 0=pvr150, 1=pvr500, 2=pg600
Not that I really thing it matters since I get the following no matter
what I feed it:
cx25840: Ignoring new-style parameters in presence of obsolete ones
I'm not sure which are the new-style and which are the old, I will
look around in the source and see if I can figure out what it wants to
see.

Thank you so mush for helping me, I looked around for a week and a
half but couldn't find anything that explained all the details.
I will do a write up on this and post it to a few different forums so
that other folks can get it working too.
