Exact same card as you Scott also running Gentoo... haven't compared
your IVTV load output with mine, later tonight I'll compare. Not to go
against the progress that has been made, but with that card I'm
running 0.3.2d with the line 1120 driver/cx25840-driver.c changed to
CX25840_SET_AUD_STANDARD(0x0001)

With this I can modprobe ivtv and everything just works.
I can't say for sure that the composite in is working - as I'm only
using the tuner... but I can try it out when I get a chance.
*this is NTSC btw.
