I had previously deleted all other visible versions of the ivtv drivers
("extra"), and the kernels that weren't being used....

The fix that seemed to work for me was killing the mythbackend process,
loading up the ivtv modules, then starting the backend again

In doing so, I no longer get the blank screen, I get a decent picture, with
the noise on the top, and it seems to be cutting the picture off on the
right hand side of the screen, maybe the left, but I don't know how to
tell...

So, how can I get things loading in the correct order? And any ideas on how
to stop it from slicing off the right of the screen? And is there any way
to check if there's other versions of my ivtv drivers kicking around?

Great work as always, keep it up!
