Hi Joe, When I first got my dual Xeon board, I considered putting the PVR-500 in one of the 64-bit slots. I asked round a little and I remember hearing that there's some sort of timing issue that allows it to not be put into the 64-bit slots. It has to be a special card, like the 3Ware Escalade, that's made to use either timing.
Please someone correct me if I'm wrong, but that's what I came up with. Thanks, Jason --- Joe Briggs <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > C'mon man,..., you've never roasted sausages over > those Athlon > hibachi's? > > > > On Wed, 2005-03-16 at 15:45, Cory Papenfuss wrote: > > On Wed, 16 Mar 2005, Joe Briggs wrote: > > > > > Yes you are right (I also have a Tyan 2466 dual > Athlon).
