I've tried just entering the commands by hand so I was assuming that if it
would work, it should work by typing the in manually.  Apparently my card is
somehow different (firmware, encoder, etc)

I'll have to live with composite I guess until it gets implemented.


Interesting. You are doing this after the channel change has completed, yes?

Can you try "toggling" the mode line?
