I've been meaning to write to the list again regarding this situation,
but my laptop broke this weekend and it's been harder for me to get to
my email. Anyway, I ran that pcitweak command Chris suggested, on
0.3.2f, and it did not seem to change anything. I'm not sure if the
goal was to purposely try making it freeze again or not, but it
didn't. I played with it for a while and could not get it to hang.
