Still having the weird gray bars thing, here's my modprobe.conf file:

#ivtv modules setup
alias char-major-81 videodev
alias char-major-81-0 ivtv
alias tveeprom tveeprom-ivtv
options ivtv ivtv_debug=1 ivtv_std=2 tuner=5
options tuner ntsc=2
options msp3400 once=1
install ivtv /sbin/modprobe --ignore-install ivtv; /sbin/modprobe ivtv-fb

and here's the /var/log/messages output after the IVTV INIT
kernel: ivtv-osd: Framebuffer module loaded (attached to ivtv card id 0)
kernel: ivtv-osd: Framebuffer is at decoder-relative address
0x00510000 and has 1704960 bytes.
kernel: ivtv-osd: screen coords: [0 0] -> [720 576]
kernel: ivtv-osd: original global alpha = 208
kernel: ivtv-osd: current OSD state = 39
kernel: ivtv-osd: new global alpha = 208 (1 255 0)
kernel: ivtv-osd: framebuffer at 0xe9510000, mapped to 0xf9a90000, size 1620k
kernel: ivtv-osd: mode is 720x576x32, linelength=2880
kernel: Console: switching to colour frame buffer device 90x36
kernel: ivtv-osd: fb0: iTVC15 TV out frame buffer device

My PVR-350 is showing up fine in lspci, and when I type in
/usr/bin/ivtvfbctl /dev/fb1 -alpha -on -globalalpha -nolocalalpha
The TV OUT works and gives me static. But when I reboot the settings
are lost...
