For giggles, do you have a newer kernel you can try? I've only tried 2.6.10 and 2.6.11 kernels on my end.


I am told that 'ivtvctl –I' does not work for the 150 / 500, since it doesn't use the SAA7115

Try reverting to 0.3.2p.

Then try both
dd if=/dev/video2 of=test.mpg
and
dd if=/dev/video3 of=test.mpg
One of them should work
