Thanks Chris. I think we're back in the right direction here. My PVR-350 still works fine with this driver. The 2nd card in my Pundit-R, SuSE 9.2 box, a PVR-500MCE still does not work. cat /dev/video1 > /tmp/test_capture.mpg for the 1st tuner of the PVR-500 gives me a file with size=0, and dmesg output of : ivtv: i2c client addr: 0x44 not found! ivtv: i2c client addr: 0x44 not found! I can't tell what happens with the 2nd tuner, as the box locks and needs a hard reboot- which is where I was with 0.3.2p? when I cat /dev/video2 > /tmp/test_capture.mpg FYI, I just got windows XP (non-MCE) installed on a spare drive on this machine. If there is anything I can do with this card/setup in windows to help your efforts, please guide me in the correct direction.
