Ok, I am definitely missing something big. There isn't even a "/lib/modules/2.6.11-1.14_FC3/ivtv" path in the system. ???
I renamed the ivtv.ko file as you suggested Rick, but when I run the modprobe command, I get FATAL: Could not open '/lib/modules/2.6.11-1.14_FC3/updates/drivers/media/video/ivtv.ko': No such file or directory And the rmmod command did nothing but complain that it couldn't find process in the /proc/modules directory. When I ran the installation on the IVTV package, I just plainly did "yum install ivtv". This completed with no error messages, so I assumed that every thing happaned as it should. I'm not missing something stupid like not doing a proper reboot, am I? Thanks! cheers jon On 4/23/05, Rick Stewart <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > Looks like its trying to load the kernel ivtv drivers instead of the new > ones.
