Ahhhh ... success. Database was screwed causing the backend to blow which caused the encoder to blow which caused me to blow and caused you to do work you really didn't need to do. Thank for you time Chris. Your dedication to this project is Herculean. Where would Hauppauge users be without you?
I will try the new drivers again sometime this weekend. They did work awfully well until that enc overflow crash. I've killed the VBI I think so that should fix the problem. On 2 side notes. First off I'm halfway though typing up that treeview of the mythtv settings. I have everyhing except for the panels in the utils/config menu (ie all the good one, I do have the mythtv-setup ones done though) I will try to post a draft on the wiki sometime this weekend. Side note 2. I'm almost late for the movie .. don't forget your towel, and most of all DON'T PANIC... :) thanks again -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Chris Kennedy Sent: Friday, April 29, 2005 8:34 PM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [ivtv-devel] #0.3.3u fixes to ff/rw pause in Myth Yeah, I agree, it's boggling my mind at the moment, finding some things that may be a problem, but so far aren't, it's acting like it isn't reading fast enough, but I'm now trying to figure that out still.
