So am I correct in my thinking that ivtv has nothing to do with the
size of the display. I have played with the overscan values setting
them to extreme values and have had no changes in the size on screen.

So if ivtv has nothing to do with this then I am on the wrong list.
Otherwise I am looking for a ivtv command to change how big that OSD
shows up.
