Title: Cx25840 errors with PVR-150MCE

Hi,

I am seeing the following errors in /var/log/messages on loading the ivtv driver (0.3.3x) with my PVR-150MCE (PAL LG S001D MK3 Tuner type 58):

I also get the following line output by dmesg multiple times:

i2c_adapter i2c-1: I2C level transfers not supported

The odd thing is that I get video and sound OK. The video quality is not the best and a bit jerky, kind of like it is doing the encoding in software rather than hardware. I am using the composite inputs on my PVR-150 and have a pretty minimal modprobe.conf, only the following:

alias char-major-81 videodev
alias char-major-81-0 ivtv
options cx25840 no_black_magic=1 audiofmt=0x04

I have tried re-creating the firmware files from the Hauppauge Windows driver using the utility provided with the ivtv driver but still get the same errors. Can anyone tell me what is happening here? Its tantalisingly close to working well, am I better to try some of the later driver releases perhaps?

Cheers,

Rick
