Unfortunately I've been unable to get any input (besides static) from
the tuner on my PVR-500 MCE D492 card. I've tried two different machines
(both VIA chipsets though), multiple versions of ivtv (including the
latest as of today), and different kernel versions.

Composite input works fine though.

I'm going to try yet another machine this weekend hopefully, and see if
that makes any difference.

I have not experienced any lockups though, however I've only captured at
most 5minutes of video "static" at a time.
