One thing I've noted is that the composite video input works only with the 
first PVR-150 instance of the PVR-500. For example, /dev/video0 can take input 
from either "Composite 0" and tuners, but /dev/video1 works only with the 
later. I've explored all possibilities with ivtvctl, and it happened the same 
with the two PVR-500 I have in my system.

Maybe it's some design limitation of the cards. Anyway, it's just a minor 
annoyance.

The point is the ivtv driver exports the full internal switch
capabilities of the chips. Not all of the cards using these chips come
from Hauppauge, and not all of them use the same inputs!
