I haven't seen anything about this in any postings so I just thought I'd ask:
Apparently, the function 'interruptible_sleep_on' is deprecated in favor of 'wait_event_interruptible', which requires an additional parameter (a condition on which to wait). Does someone know how to patch the 3 or 4 places that use the deprecated function to replace it with the preferred one? Will this work on kernels prior to 2.6.10 (that I am running) such as 2.4 etc.? Sorry, I am not a kernel programmer.
