I am getting repeated (10 a second or so) of this error message in my dmesg:

ivtv: IRQ: IVTV_IRQ_DEC_DMA_ERR

I have tried multiple versions of the driver, from the "stable" old releases
to
the newest 0.3.4q. I have 2 PVR 250s. I just added the
second one two days ago. I am unaware if the new one caused this as the
recordings are still fine. The only thing that tipped me off to
these messages was a 4.2 Gig /var/log/messages file!!! I do not have the
second
pvr 250 set up as I have directv and no second receiver to
use yet. I do not know enough about driver options and the ivtv driver
itself,
as i have never passed it any options and it has worked
fine. Now I am wondering what the cause of these messages is... If I start
watching Live TV from a cold boot, I do not get these messages.
When I start watching a recording, they start, and will not stop until another
cold boot. I am baffled because the messages will start even
if I'm watching something in MythVideo, which should be completely isolated.
Here is the output of my IVTV dmesg stuff:

I believe the second tuner should be set to the LG TAPE tuner too, but am not
positive, as the cards do differ slightly. Another thing to
note is that the second tuner does not have radio, but ivtv seems to detect
one.

If anybody has any driver versions they think might work, or any
suggestions/module options, etc. please let me know!

Chris, if you want me to try specific stuff/code, just let me know! Whatever I
can do to help you out, you'd really be just helping me out in the long run!!!

With close inspection of my 4.2 Gig log file, these errors definitely
started upon adding the second pvr 250... also, in the older driver version
(marked stable...)
I have a bunch of:

errors. I have no idea what to try, and I can't find any solutions searching
gossimer threads or google at all... I have tried newer versions, like the
recent thread spoke of where Chris was trying out new code, but that does
nothing
but change the 6 line error message to a 1 liner. I have also tried adding
pci=routing, and/or noapic to my kernel options, I have changed PnP OS in BIOS
to
no/yes, disabled/enabled different IRQ settings, disabled APIC in BIOS, etc.
I
cannot get anything to work... The closest thing to error-free is disabling
IRQ
11 in BIOS as a reserved IRQ, then the two PVR250s go on different IRQs and
when
recording, I do not get any error messages. Upon playback in MythTV, I start
to
get bombarded with the IRQ/DMA errors...

I hope somebody can help me!!!

P.S. If my gmail e-mails finally go through, I appologize for the multiple
