First of all, I want to say that I'm getting similar errors, which are causing lock-ups on my computers. I'm not sure it's because of the ivtv driver or my particular chipset (ATI).
Secondly, you have to realize that, by default, you don't get a copy of the email you send to the mailing list yourself.
