I've also installed 0.3.4s and the first ans second ivtvdev_drv.o from john.
I don this all logged as root, but the following error appear:
[EMAIL PROTECTED] mythtv]# mplayer -fs -zoom -vo xv -ao alsa
for me -fs and -zoom make it not work. I use -vf scale=720:-3,expand=720:576
