I get the exact same pci_map_sg errors on YUV playback (ivtvdev 0.10.1, ivtv-0.3.5r). The image stutters while this happens. This is on a pvr-350 in PAL-land.
When playing mpeg2 with 0.3.5r, all is fine for about 10mins and then the video starts to get choppy. Soon after the image freezes along with the kernel.
