Hello, after managing X to work with the new xv-enabled ivtvdev-driver I can run mythtv on my box with a impressing clear picture (besides: previously I ran tv-out on a Matrox G450, but this is way better!). mplayer as well as watching tv work, but tv takes only the top left third of the sreen shows a (choppy colored) picture, the rest of the screen presents a still part of the first shown tv-picture. mplayer plays fine on the top half of the screen, the bottom half shows up with parts from the tv-picture. I read in previous threads about initializing the module with dd if=/dev/video0 of=/dev/video16 bs=64k count=50, but that didn't help. I started mplayer with mplayer -vf scale=720:576,expand=720:576 -vo xv mplayer -fs -zoom -vo -xv mplayer -vo xv but non of these did help. Did anyone see the same issue and can help?
