You are not the only one! I just subscribed to this list today in order to
ask if anyone else is experiencing this problem. I'm running 0.3.4j
drivers and I'd say they work about 75% of the time. There are occasions
however, where the sound is overdriven and distorted. I've seen this
happen when a recording begins or when the channel is changed. It
(usually) gets corrected if I change to a different channel and then back
again. This obviously isn't very desirable if a recording is in
progress. It seems to occur randomly.
If it helps, I've got a DirecTV D10 box. The S-Video and L/R audio
channels are connected to my PVR-500.
