Yes, it's happening every time. Although, I'll try a
cold boot to make sure there's no residual issues from
the multiple versions of firmware I've been trying
(the firmware that came with the card & the
recommended firmware from the ivtv wiki)

Moving the the Hcw*.rom * & ivtv-fw*.bin files to
/lib/hotplug/firmware didn't change anything.

Should I try an earlier version of ivtv? If so any
recommendations of versions know to work with PVR-150?
I've tried 0.3.6c&d.

mplayer /dev/video0 results in a hang after sound card
initialization. I'm assuming my inability to get video
is result of firmware issues. But I'm a newbie ;)
