I have this too with recent versions of ivtv with a PVR150 MCE PAL.
I'm not sure when it started, because I missed a few weeks worth of
new versions ...
I do too, but I was under the impression that this was a myth
problem, since I can do
mplayer /dev/video
then
ptune.pl <some other channel>
or
ivtvctl -p <some other input>
And it makes a flawless transition, no skips or yoinks. If you look at
the mythfrontend log, it says "prebuffering wait" or something like that
right when it pauses. I've never looked into it because myth takes way
way way longer than it should to change channels anyway.
But you're saying this doesn't happen with all versions of ivtv?
