Hi all,
I've been combing forums, archives of this list, and tried multiple guides,
and I'm starting to wonder if this is a bug and I just don't know enough to
recognize it.
It's gentoo 2.6.11-gentoo-r9. I've built ivtv -0.3.5m from source and lirc
0.7.0.
All modules seem to load correctly. Although I have an awful lot of
"mast_xfer: with 1 msgs" in my dmesg.
Here is my /etc/modules.d/ivtv:
alias char-major-81 videodev
alias char-major-81-0 ivtv
alias char-major-61 lirc_i2c
add above ivtv lirc_dev lirc_i2c
and I've got:
lirc_dev: IR Remote Control driver registered, at major 61
in my dmesg.
So this is the first time I've posted to this list (duh), what files would
help me figure out what's going on? I'm not too familiar with module
loading.. I'm going to read up on that now, but what should I have in my
modules file?
