Grumble, grumble. Hi All, I have a 500MCE that I'm trying to get to work. I've been trying the various suggestions posted in other threads on 500MCE static without any success. My system (FC3) recognizes the card as two 150's, but when I cat the /dev/video0|1 all I get is static. I've been faithfully following Myth(TV)ology and now I'm at the point where I set up the cards at the terminal and that's where I'm stuck. I've also changed from 0 to 7, with only 6 and 7 giving me static and the rest as black screens. I've also changed the channel using the Ptune-ui.
Here's my START INIT: Jul 1 23:31:51 localhost kernel: ivtv: ==================== START INIT IVTV ==================== Jul 1 23:31:51 localhost kernel: ivtv: version 0.3.5 (l) loading Jul 1 23:31:51 localhost kernel: ivtv: Linux version: 2.6.11-1.27_FC3smp SMP 686 REGPARM 4KSTACKS gcc-3.4 Jul 1 23:31:51 localhost kernel: ivtv: In case of problems please include the debug info Jul 1 23:31:51 localhost kernel: ivtv: between the START INIT IVTV and END INIT IVTV lines when Jul 1 23:31:51 localhost kernel: ivtv: mailing the ivtv-devel mailinglist.
