Do I get "ivtv: i2c client addr: 0x44 not found for command...." errors?

Well, now I do.

In my continued quest to get this working, I'm always surfing trying to find
answers. And now, I seem to have screwed it up such that NEITHER tuner works.

They both yield a 0 byte file when I 'cat /dev/video[23] >vid[23].mpg'.

Damn. I'm going backwards!

And of course, backing up modules.dep and modprobe.conf before making changes
is an excellent approach, I didn't bother because each change was "so simple"
I thought I would remember it! I'm such a goof :^P

Anyway, besides those messages, higher up in dmesg, I see these errors:
wm8775: Unknown symbol i2c_probe
wm8775: Unknown symbol i2c_check_functionality
wm8775: Unknown symbol i2c_add_driver
wm8775: Unknown symbol i2c_smbus_write_byte_data

Am I running the wrong versions of these modules, compared to the version of
ivtv?

Oh yeah. I can get tuner 3 to work if I do a 'modprobe -r ivtv; modprobe
ivtv' to reload it. Not sure what's up with that.

Thanks,
Don
