I have tried various pagan rituals regarding my combination of 150MCE (PAL, tuner 38) and 500MCE (PAL, tuner 56) the last couple of days, none of which have been very successful... (Thor and the rest of the old Norse God ensamble would've been very prooud of me...goat-blood not whithstanding). I've tried various trciks suggested by Michel & Henk, I've loaded the saa7127 with "i2c_enable=-1", I've tried 0.3.6t which gave me nothing, I've also tried specifying "tuner=38,51,51" etc. - no sound on my 500. With ivtv = 0.3.6t I get nada on all channels. With ivtv >= 0.3.6u I get sound on 150, picture but no sound on 500.
I believe that the old gods are of no good in this modern world - we need modern style programmer-like gods with the proper debugging tools and the knowhow. So, I call upon thee, Bryan, Tyler, John & Chris - please look down upon us mere meek users with mersy, and queue into you list of godly doings the task of looking into what goes wrong with this particular combination. Meed/beer/whatever WILL be flowing upon the successful resolve of this particular mystery - I'm afraid it's beyond me.
