if you have the same tuner as I have (model=48139, rev=K257, tuner=38 (Philips FM1216 ME MK3)), the latest ivtv driver (0.3.7f) should work. Older drivers (e.g. 0.2.x) had problems with the radio and the tda9887 chip which wasn't initialized properly. I don't exactly remember which versions failed for me and which succeeded, so simply try out the latest one...
