Just to confirm; this makes the PCI ids known to hotplug only after the drivers are built/installed and depmod is run? The effect is to load the driver automatically on subsequent reboots? How can this be suppressed, e.g. for debugging purposes to load each driver manually (without just reverting the patch)?
