Hey everybody, I was surprised when I tried to play an mpeg file (generated by reading from /dev/video) on the Mac OS X quicktime application. I got this message:
Couldn't open the file "pti.mpg" because it is not a file that QuickTime understands. The file does play flawlessly with mplayer.
