Does anyone have vlc working via tvout on a PVR-350? If so, any special incantations required?
using ivtv-0.3.7i and included ivtvdev_drv.o: With this command-line: vlc --fullscreen dvd:// I get the vlc control window displayed for a few seconds and then this output: [00000266] a52 decoder: A/52 channels:2 samplerate:48000 bitrate:192000 The program '' received an X Window System error. This probably reflects a bug in the program. The error was 'BadMatch (invalid parameter attributes)'. (Details: serial 53 error_code 8 request_code 140 minor_code 17) (Note to programmers: normally, X errors are reported asynchronously; that is, you will receive the error a while after causing it. To debug your program, run it with the --sync command line option to change this behavior. You can then get a meaningful backtrace from your debugger if you break on the gdk_x_error() function.) And then vlc closes. Starting it on my nvidia X display works as expected, but doesn't play as nicely with mythtv. ------------------------------------------------------- SF.Net email is Sponsored by the Better Software Conference & EXPO September 19-22, 2005 * San Francisco, CA * Development Lifecycle Practices Agile & Plan-Driven Development * Managing Projects & Teams * Testing & QA Security * Process Improvement & Measurement * http://www.sqe.com/bsce5sf _______________________________________________ ivtv-devel mailing list ivtv-devel@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/ivtv-devel
