Yeah, the new Imakefile and ivtv_xv.c worked great.
Everything compiles, X runs, but I have one last
problem. When I run the following command:

mplayer -vo xv dailyshow.avi

I get a screen that's all purple and green, but the
sound sounds right. I hope it's just something stupid
I'm doing that makes it not work. Here's the output
from mplayer, any ideas? Thanks again. And, just for
reference, mplayer -vo x11 dailyshow.avi works, but is
all choppy.
