PVR 150 owners and ivtv developers,
I tried searching the wiki for an answer but didn't come up with
anything relevant. I remember reading here someone specifically not
recommending the PVR 150 MCE vs the retail PVR 150. I don't need a
remote so the MCE looks attractive. Is there a qualitative or hardware
reason not to buy those as I was thinking of adding another tuner to my
myth box and the white box versions are around 60USD. Assuming the
driver works well enough should I avoid the MCE version and if so why ?
Also, what issues would I have to worry about mixing a 250 with a 150 ?
The most obvious one that comes to mind is does the driver support
loading different firmware for each card ? A quick modinfo -p ivtv
shows only one image directive for the whole driver. Would it be
desirable or even possible to load a different firmware image into each
card ?
